I am an experienced carpenter and maker based in Sheffield, covering all of South Yorkshire including Rotherham and Chesterfield. I design and make furniture in locally sourced native hardwoods to commission using traditional techniques. Outdoor and indoor pieces, gifts and commemorative pieces and public art - all requests considered including a marionette commissioned by my grandson!
My designs are inspired by the materials I use and your own particular requirements and perspective, I always provide a bespoke service from beginning to completion.

I am now the proud owner of a very unique piece of not only functional but also attractive furniture. The use of the lighter coloured ash brightens what would otherwise be a dark corner in my hallway. I’m so glad that Henk took the trouble to make a small model when I had difficulty understanding his scale drawings for the piece which also enabled me to easily decide on accepting his suggestions.
