Business Description
Established in 1975, Woodwork By David J Law undertakes the manufacture and installation of bespoke woodwork projects. With the exceptions of wood turnings i.e. stair parts and some decorative mouldings everything displayed on my website and advertising platforms is handmade to individual client requirements. I undertake projects nationwide having had previous premises based in London (Acton 1980-89 and Chiswick 1994-02), Sheffield (Penistone 2002-11) and Wolverhampton (Tettenhall 2013-14) leading up to my present location, Dudley West Midlands. From this geographically central location I find it much easier to serve my clientele spread throughout the UK aided by the close proximity of the M5 and M6 motorways. Over the years I have worked in most English counties, Wales, France and Spain (where I lived 1989-94).I am apprenticeship served, City and Guilds qualified and have a wealth of experience gained from 47 years in the woodworking trades. Amongst my clientele have been many celebrities from the world of music, theatre, television, film and sport, plus aristocracy, foreign royals, politicians and diplomats. I have also worked for many well known landmarks and institutions including Harrods, Lords MCC, The Black Country Living Museum, The Red House Glass Museum, The Royal British Legion and the NEC. I offer free no obligation visits to meet potential clients to discuss and measure their requirements, but if preferred this can be done via email if sufficient information is provided. I am always happy to give advice and offer a warm friendly service enhanced by a proud unblemished reputation for Quality, Reliability, Trust and Value, this is reflected in the many satisfied customer reviews and feedback posted across my advertising platforms.

Straight away David suggested good ideas and ways to make my living room look luxurious. David and his team were always on time and continously took pride in their work which led to the feature wall looking amazing. David also took care and used dust sheets to protect our TV and floor. 01/07/2019 at 12:31 pmWe asked David to fit two shelves in our kitchen, to hold our growing cookbook collection. As you’d imagine, the shelves needed to be able to hold a considerable amount of weight, as most cookbooks are hardback.
David came up with a custom solution featuring hollow shelves mounted to a backplate on the wall, with further support provided by fixing the shelves to our existing kitchen cabinets.
David was professional throughout, and we are very happy with the result, and the price was very reasonable. We’ll be looking to use David’s services again in the future on our next project.

David did exactly what we asked him to do, the wardrobe is absolutely outstanding and he by far exceeded our expectations.
