Founded by Scott Reid, Stratum Masonry In Glasgow is the latest in a long line of stonemasons within a family that have been involved within the Stonemasonry industry. The family business knowledge and skill set has passed through multiple generations.
The reason Scott started Stratum Masonry was to give clients peace of mind in finding a trusted Stonemasonry contractor who is using the traditional methods and materials whilst utilising the latest technology to get our message out across the social world we live in today.
Scott cares about his reputation, name, quality and customer satisfaction and that is evident in each and every employee and their attitude to their work and the people around them.
Being in the younger generation of stonemasons in Glasgow Scott has always believed in focusing on the detail and that is shown in his dedication to providing high quality stonemasonry craftsmanship. Being in the industry for 13+ years he has amassed a small team of trusted stonemasons who have worked on many iconic grade A and B listed buildings throughout Scotland.

27 March 2024 at 10 AMWe had lost faith in workmen as we had our house pointed expensively and badly. The work had to be removed and redone. We read Stratum’s reviews and asked them to undertake the work. What a difference. The front of the house looks great. Scott Reid (who owns the business) is lovely, has great communication skills, is very professional, approachable and has built a great team of skilled workers. Aaron and Jindra were lovely guys and their work was excellent. We will miss having them around. How often can you honestly say that? Not forgetting Rab who was only here for a few days but was also a very experienced worker. This has been a very pleasant experience and we wish Scott and his team all the very best. We are sure this business will thrive and grow. Look no further if you need work done.
