At Salopwood we are premier manufacturers of a full range of oak timber structures and products, installing and building across Shropshire, Staffordshire, Wales and beyond. We offer a nationwide service using traditional methods of construction alongside more modern techniques too. Materials generally used are Oak, Douglas Fir, Larch, Cedar, Spruce, pine, aluminium, glass, steel and much more. Our key business is bespoke outdoor timber frame gazebos, oak timber frame garages, garage rooms including rooms above and restoration plus oak timber framed houses and extensions.

Every oak timber building is custom made to each customer’s requirements and needs, we have you covered on all aspects of the design to create a very personal and attractive structure. Initial contact, quotation and design, planning approval, manufacture and installation. We work alongside architects and designers of your choice as well as our own team, who have vast experience in the design and planning applications so we have you covered on all bases.

We also offer general carpentry services which include 2nd fix carpentry (skirtings, architraves and doors) media walls with built-in electric fires, wall panelling, decking, gates and joinery. 1st fix carpentry and roofing. – If it’s timber we do it!

We work nationwide from our South Shropshire base including the towns of Hereford, Leominster, Shrewsbury, Telford, Ludlow, Iron Bridge, Stafford, Stoke-on-Trent, Much Wenlock, Bishop’s Castle, Bishop’s Wood and Bishops Castle.
