We are a successful, family based building company, carrying out building works ranging from minor repairs, to extensions and loft conversions. We also have extensive experience dealing with the commercial sector, incorporating engineering works ranging from minor projects to major construction.
We have 26 years of building experience, and are highly qualified in all areas, including sub contracted N.I.C.E.I.C electricians and Corgi registered plumbers. We are proud members of the Guild of Master Craftsmen, and have a wide and impressive range of recommendations.

20/01/2021 at 11:45 amWe were contacted by Anton McFarland after he had seen our planning permission that had been passed with the local authority. We had seen another company but liked his passion for doing the job.
Anton came to see us a few times and we felt him and his team were the right guys to do the works at our house.
We were having an extension built and alterations, taking down internal walls, which involved installing 5 very large steels, which were challenging at times, and meant more ground work. New roofing, floor, ceiling, taking old kitchen out, moving drains, Bi-fold doors, and much more. We had already arranged our kitchen installation with another company before we met Anton, so everything was to lead up to the new kitchen being fitted.
From day one they prepared everything, to help us as much as possible, with a temporary door between our kitchen and our home, carpets covered, moving our furniture and taking away the old kitchen. We had a group WhatsApp so we could communicate with him all the time. All the team were great, worked very hard, were very helpful and polite, and professional, and felt you could trust them in your home, which was great for us.
The work is now completed and the kitchen is being fitted, and Anton is sending the guys round to do extra’s to get everything finished when asked.
We would recommend McFarland’s again, to anyone wishing to have work done.
Finally we would like to just thank Anton, Stuart, Findley, Sam, Martin, Roman and his wonderful tiler/plumber Tawanda, Electrician Adrian, they have all have been brilliant.

As soon as we met Anton he made us feel at ease, which was exactly what we wanted after meeting many contractors that did not inspire confidence in us. With not having much knowledge in this field, Anton came up with ideas and solutions that improved our original design making it more cost effective and making better use of the space we had. He was always on hand to answer any questions or queries we had and we are so happy with the quality of work and the finished product. Anton and his team were polite and friendly and made the process stress free. They were always willing to go the extra mile, even helping us with jobs they were not contracted to do. And when faced with issues that were out of his hands, he did all he could to resolve the situation. We are so pleased we chose to proceed with McFarland’s and would definitely recommend them.
