Jason has done several bits of work for me and has always done an excellent job.
He tries to keep mess to a minimum and is always very good and tidying at the end of each day.
He is very good at communicating re timings, work schedule and costings and I have no hesitation at recommending him.
I also feel very happy leaving him in the house on his own (even going away on holiday whilst he does the work !!)

We had Jason and his team decorate our hall, stairs and landing. They were with us for over 2 weeks and they always left the house clean and tidy, minimising any disruption to our very busy household.

Jason impressed us from the start with a thorough survey of all the work we required (the top two floors and hall and stairs of a 5 bed Victorian property) . He was careful to check understanding of what we wanted. His quote was v competitive compared to others. As the work progressed he continued to check back with our requirements and was cheerful and accommodating when these changed! He and his team were thorough and professional taking particular care with the all-important preparation stage. They were also friendly, cheerful and easy to get on with. We were very pleased with the decorating that Jason and his team have just completed in our utility room and garage. All three decorators were punctual, friendly and professional. Jason was really helpful in explaining what needed to be done, and also very carefully repaired and repainted some rotten exterior woodwork to a very high standard. The team were meticulous in their work and tidied up really well at the end of each day. I would definitely use Gaines decorators again and highly recommend them.

Jason and his team decorated my entire house, which is a Victorian renovated property. This included all the interior walls, cornicing, ceiling roses, doors, skirting and window sills, window shutters, kitchen and utility cabinets, fitted wardrobes, fireplace surrounds, staircase, stair rail and exterior doors. It was a tremendous amount of work and we are extremely pleased with the excellent standard of decorating and professional finish. Jason takes pride in his craft and it shows. Everything has been done properly, from effectively preparing surfaces, to selecting the most appropriate and durable materials. We found Gaines decorators to be very personable, trustworthy and hard working, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

I would highly recommend Gaines Decorators, and would use them again. They repaired and painted the front of our Victorian terrace. It was in quite disrepair and it now looks transformed.
They sealed the windows, removed lots of previously blown paint and filled many damaged sections. They also removed an old disconnect alarm box, and repainted our front door, frame, step, drain pipe and fascias. They also cleared up each day and protected the plants out the front when working.
Gaines Decorators were friendly professional and personable, and fitted us into a busy schedule. The work was completed well within the estimate, and ahead of maximum time scales given – despite several unknown factors with the disrepair of the site.

The team have carried out a wide variety of decorating work in our grade 2 listed Georgian home to a high standard (never seen glossing like it!) . They are very tidy, professional and personable which is important when the house is still occupied and can get on well with other tradespersons.
