Hand engraving is a fine art with a long history. It’s also my speciality – the work I love. From family silver and crystal glassware handed down through generations to the latest titanium jewellery. But hand engraving isn’t always a practical option. And that’s when 21st century technology takes centre stage. Take a fingerprint, for example. It’s not suitable for engraving by hand, but now we can engrave the unique intricate loops and whorls on items such as signet rings and pendants with state of the art computerised machines. It’s also possible to engrave complex company logos, corporate branding and geometrical fonts onto iPads, salvers and glassware. All with stunning accuracy and precision.
In a nutshell, I engrave jewellery, glassware and precious metals by hand and machine.
