22/07/2022 at 8:00 pmBea did a fantastic job on a minikin bear purchased for my mother, the attention to detail was utterly perfection, who would have thought for a small bear you could get so much detail and still maintain that personal touch. Her bear is beyond perfect and will stay with her for many many years.
Thank you for your incredible work.

04/02/2022 at 3:11 pmBea exemplifies love and care in each stitch. I sent a dear little bear named Fritz to her for a complete restoration. We don’t know Fritz’s exact age as even the experts are unsure of this. It is possible he lived during WWI with one family as his oral history suggests but we know he definitely lived through WWII with a Jewish refugee family and gave them comfort as they fled to safety and later hid from falling bombs in a bombed out basement.
Bea took little Fritz under her wing and gave him all the love and care a mother would for a child. When he came back he was no longer the frail bear I was almost afraid to hold. She completely lined his whole body, reconstructed his snout which was more than half missing and gave him all new joints and saw to it that his head which had been sewn to his neck decades before was one again movable.
Bea duplicated every stitch from both the manufacturer as well as making delightful ghost stitches to mimic all the Mommy fixes Fritz’s had over the years. She was and is a sympathetic restorer. I was thrilled that she was able to save and reattach the cloth material that’s been on his paws for so long. It is a piece of his story and I’m so glad she was able to save it.
It’s hard to know how long Fritz has been silent but when he came home he one again had a voice. Doctor Bea, as we call her, worked a miracle and was able to fix his tilt growler. He’s no longer partially blind and once again has 20/20 vision now that he has two eyes again. One is good but two is best. And he’s even slightly fuzzy now. Fritz is mostly bald from all the love he’s given and received but somehow she’s restored the fluff to what little mohair he has left. I am still amazed by this.
I can not even begin to thank Doctor Bea for all the time, effect, attention to detail and love she gave to this old bear. He’s all set for another 100+ years and it’s all thanks to her skill and work ethic. I recommend her 100 percent. She is a skilled craftsmen and a joy to work with.

02/02/2022 at 5:22 pmI commissioned two bears from Bea as ‘presents for life’ to give to my children. After many conversations, Bea suggested ideas which were perfect. My children were and still are delighted with them. The thought and the little details that Bea put into them, truly reflect her superb standard of work and her dedication to her craft. They arrived in a beautiful, repurposed crate filled with wood wool which kept them safe on their journey to us. They really are bears for life. I cannot recommend Bea’s work highly enough.

30/01/2022 at 4:04 pmI recently had my very first Teddy bear lovingly restored. I couldn’t be happier with the result. Bev knew how much this bear meant to me and treated him with so much love and care, he looks perfect. I also bought a handcrafted Teddy bear from Bev he has to be the most handsome bear I have ever owned. The craftsman ship on him is beyond any skill level I’ve seen. I can not recommend this lovely lady enough, her work is impeccable and she genuinely cares about every bear she works on as if they were her own.

30/01/2022 at 4:04 pmI commissioned bear number 2 from Bea as a Christmas present for my daughter. I was so impressed with the 1st bear that I commissioned this 2nd. Our latest addition maintains the incredible high standards of design and needlework. All credit to Bea for her dedication to crafting heirloom bears of such quality in this, the machine made, throw away age.
